Dear Parent/ Carer
Thank you for all your support during the transition to our new ‘home’. I’m sure you’ll all agree that the children have settled in brilliantly and they love their new surroundings.
We couldn’t be happier in Sparrows Herne and look forward to growing into our new space over the next few months.
We are in for a busy month so please take note of some key dates:Christmas Jumper Day Wednesday 6th December
Pre-School Christmas Photos Thursday 7th December (if your children are not usually in on Thursdays please drop me a message so we can book you a slot to pop in)
Christmas Carol presentation by the children Tuesday 12th December at 11.30am
Children’s Christmas Party Wednesday 13th December (all children are welcome to join us)
Last day of term Friday 15h December at 3pm

Birthdays
A big happy birthday to Parker and Victoria who are celebrating a birthday in December. We hope you all have fun with your family and friends.
Welcome
A big Startright welcome to Kornelia who has joined us this month. We hope you are very happy with your new Pre-School family!
Pre-School Report
Your child’s report is now available on Babys Days. Please ensure you read it and get in touch if you have any queries.
Labelling
We have lots of children in Pre-School and at the end of every day we want to be able to return the correct items to the right child. Please ensure you label everything you bring into Pre-School including clothes. lunchboxes, bottles and shoes.
Lunch
If your child brings in grapes in their packed lunch please ensure you cut them in half for safety reasons.

Cold Weather
We are all enjoying our outside space and now we have even more free-flow in to the garden. The weather is now very cold so please remember hats and gloves as well as a nice warm coat.
Primary School Application
If you’re applying for school reception places for September 2024 please remember the deadline for applications is 15th January 2024.
Fees
Please ensure your fees are paid by 5th December to avoid your account going in to arrears and extra charges being incurred.
