Dear Parent/ Carer
We hope you had a lovely half term – it was lovely to see the children running back in to Pre-School on Monday!
We have a short but busy half term ahead before we finish for the Easter break.
To continue our healthy lifestyle topic we have lots of fun planned; On 20th and 21st March we will be taking a trip to Andrew’s Greengrocer in Bushey Heath. The children will be given the opportunity to buy a piece of fruit of their choose – please can you give your child £2 to spend.
We also have a fabulous opportunity for the children to take part in weekly fitness sessions with SUPER STAR SPORT. Super Star Sport specialise in Early Years Movement & Development as well as Physical Education for KS1 & KS2. The coaches are fully qualified, hold enhanced DBS certificates, and are First Aid & Safeguard trained. The children all took part in a taster session before half term and they all really enjoyed it.
The course starts at the beginning of March and takes place every Wednesday at a cost of £4:50 per session. Please let me know if you would like your child to join in the fun!
There are lots of opportunities for the children to dress up in March too!
St David’s Day on March 1st (children can wear red, white and green on this day)
World Book Day on March 7th (children to come dressed as a book character from their favourite story)
Red Nose Day on March 15th (children can wear red on this day and bring in £2 for charity)
St Patricks Day on March 17th (children can wear green on 11th -15th March)

Mother’s Day
We’d like to welcome all mummies, grandmas and nannies to join us on a day of their choice during the week beginning 4th March to spend some time reading stories and enjoying games with us.

Maths Club
If you have older children looking for support with Maths then why not sign them up to our Maths Club? Our qualified Maths teacher Alison can help with homework and tutoring and cover both primary and secondary topics. Please get in touch for more information.
