Startright Pre-School Newsletter June 2021

I hope you had a great Half Term break – we are looking forward to hearing about what the children got up to when they come back into Pre-School from Monday.

The sun is here to stay so please remember to apply sunscreen to your children before Pre-School and to send in a sun hat every day. We spend lots of time in the garden so it’s vital the children are protected when they are playing outside.

Thank you all so much for playing your part and helping to keep case rates of Covid-19 low in Hertfordshire. As restrictions ease more generally, it’s more important than ever that we follow current guidance to help keep each other safe and settings free from outbreaks.
Please do not send children back to settings if they are sick or feel unwell. If you or children have symptoms you must self-isolate immediately and book a PCR test at: www.gov.uk/get-coronavirus-test

This is a challenging time for everyone, and we want you know that help and support is available for anyone who needs it in Hertfordshire. HertsHelp can provide free, confidential advice and practical help for things like food, essential bills and emotional support.

See you next week

Father’s Day
On Monday 21st June we would like to invite and daddies or grandads in to celebrate Father’s Day by reading a story to the children. If you would like to be involved please drop me a message so we can can organise a suitable time.

June Themes
7th -11th June – Recycling/ Transport
14th – 18th June – Water Play/ Transport
21st – 25th June – Beach/ Holiday/ Transport

Parking
Please do not park in Rectory Lane when dropping off and collecting your children. Parking here is reserved for residents and church users. There is plenty of free parking on the High Street and in Kemp Place.

A Friendly Reminder
Please remember that Pre-School starts at 9am. If your children arrive late they miss lots of important activities and can disrupt their morning routine.
We also ask that you collect your children on time. Late fees will be applied as we need to pay for members of the team to stay behind if you are late.

Labels
Please remember to label your child’s clothes, coats, bags, shoes, bottles and lunch boxes – we want to be able to return all property to its rightful owners.
